Volunteer with Mercy Haven: Make an Impact in Just One Day
Learn a new skill. Build a compassionate community. Change a neighbor’s life. Not bad for a day’s work! There are many ways you can get involved and make a difference:
Provide clerical support in our main office
Mentor or present at Breakthrough (training provided!)
Assist with grant research and writing
Join our Event Committees—help with events, fundraisers, and celebrations
Paint, garden, or assist with home maintenance at our residences
Lead recreational or educational activities for our residents

I was looking for something to fill my time after retiring from educating autistic and mentally challenged adults. My niece, a Mercy Haven volunteer, asked me to attend a meeting for one of their golf outing fundraisers. After that first meeting I knew Mercy Haven was the perfect fit. I’ve met so many interesting people and have made good friends; but most of all I found the vehicle I needed to help those who need it most. I’m proud to be a volunteer with Mercy Haven and to be a part of the wonderful work they continue to do.
